I recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from San José State University, where I gained a solid foundation in data Structures and algorithms, operating systems, software engineering process management, software quality engineering, and artificial intelligence. I am passionate about using technology to create innovative solutions that make a difference in people's lives.

During my studies, I had the opportunity to work on several projects that honed my skills in JavaScript, Python, and Java. Some of my most notable projects include a Cryptocurrency Forecasting Model, COVID-19 Tracker, and a mockup of the Reddit web application.

Cryptocurrency Forecasting Model

This cryptocurrency forecasting model project aims to traverse, analyze, and interpret data from technical and sentimental analyses. Using the data interpreted, the model has the ability to forecast price movements to the time scale of the customer's preference. This project aims to reduce the time spent to analyze technical data, assist customers to make confident trading decisions, and detail the price movement patterns that are difficult to detect with human capabilities. This project was made using Python as the main programming language along with Jupyter Notebook to implement the machine learning algorithm and Flask as the web framework.

COVID-19 Tracker

This is a COVID-19 Tracker that aims to spread awareness of the coronavirus pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus by visualizing COVID-19 statistics. The data from the statistics is fetched from the given API and is displayed using cards. A chart is made to present the active cases, recovered cases, and deaths to better understand the trends. This project was made using the React web framework alongide with Charts.js and Material UI as the modules.

COVID-19 Tracker

Reddit Clone

This clone is a replica of the Reddit web application. Users are able to submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down by other users. This application was made using React.js plus Next.js as the frontend JavaScript framework, Tailwind CSS for styling, StepZen as the middleware, and Supabase to create the GraphQL backend API and PostgreSQL database. NextAuth is used to sign in and authenticate users using the Reddit API.
